High school juniors can apply to help make state education decisions next school year.
The State Board of Education and the Oregon Department of Education are accepting applications for student advisers. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. The one-year roles start in August.
Student board advisers attend state board meetings and join discussions of Oregon education issues. ODE student rule advisers attend Rules Advisory Committee meetings and help develop Oregon administrative rules.
