
The OSBA Legislative Roadshow will traverse the state next week, with meetings in the northeast corner before heading to Roseburg.
OSBA’s fall regional meetings have been touring the state for more than a month. OSBA leaders share information on implementing laws passed in 2023 and expectations for the 2024 legislative session. The roadshow is also a chance for school board members and superintendents to meet with their regional counterparts as well as to talk with OSBA representatives about important education issues.
On Monday, Oct. 23, the InterMountain Education Service District will host at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande. Dinner will be at 6 p.m., and the meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Attendees can RSVP at [email protected].
On Tuesday, Oct. 24, the Region 18 ESD will host at Enterprise High School. Dinner will be at 6 p.m., and the meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Attendees can RSVP at [email protected].
On Wednesday, Oct. 25, the InterMountain ESD will host again, this time at the Pendleton Convention Center. Dinner will be at 6 p.m., and the meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Attendees can RSVP at [email protected].
On Thursday, Oct. 26, the Douglas ESD will host at its offices in Roseburg. Dinner will be at 6 p.m., and the meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Attendees can RSVP on the ESD’s website.
