Kyle Haney

Bio

Kyle Haney grew up in Oregon City, graduating from Oregon City High School in 2007.  Kyle earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon in 2010, with double majors in Political Science and Philosophy.  He followed that by earning both a Master’s in Conflict and Dispute Resolution and his law degree from the University of Oregon in 2016.

 

Kyle joined OSBA’s legal department in 2026. Prior to joining OSBA, Kyle clerked for the Honorable Scott Shorr on the Oregon Court of Appeals before working as a Deputy District Attorney in Polk County and Benton County.

 

Kyle has a substantial amount of experience litigating cases, as well as assisting and advising public agencies.

 

Kyle is admitted to the Oregon State Bar.  Given his passion for public service, he is excited to work with OSBA’s member districts and institutions.
