The 21st Century Community Learning Centers grants provide federal money for before-school, after-school and summer programs. The request for applications will be released the week of March 27.
The five-year grants call for partnerships between school districts and community-based groups to create high-quality and locally relevant programming. Grant applications are due by May 12, and awards will be announced in June. The grants begin in September.
The Oregon Department of Education is offering technical assistance, including an informational brief with tips on how to apply. ODE will offer webinars April 5 and April 14 and weekly office hours starting April 19.
