An effective school bond or levy campaign calls for extensive planning and attention to crucial details. The biennial OSBA Bonds, Ballots and Buildings Conference provides school district and community college leaders with much-needed expertise.

Registration is now open for the Feb. 16 event at the Salem Convention Center. The conference brings together leading professionals from the worlds of construction, finance, communications and education to offer training and advice.

Multiple workshop options during three sessions throughout the day will cover topics ranging from bond fundamentals to public campaigns and construction issues. Attendees can see examples of how to create a campaign and follow through on projects.

The 2024 conference will again provide the popular Learn From the Winners panel. School district superintendents Dave Parker of Forest Grove, Mike Johnson of Creswell and Patrick Lee of Rogue River will share lessons from their recent successful campaigns.

The conference also includes networking opportunities and exhibitors with education-related products and services.

Online registration closes Feb. 2. The $255 registration includes workshop materials, breakfast and lunch. After Feb. 2, attendees must register at the convention center for an additional $75.
