Resolutions

The following resolutions will be voted on by the OSBA membership during electronic voting Nov. 15 – Dec. 15, 2024:

• Resolution 1 – Amends the OSBA dues schedule.
• Resolution 2 – Creates the Oregon School Board Members PRIDE Caucus and designate a seat on the OSBA Board of Directors and Legislative Policy Committee.
• Resolution 3 – Adopts the proposed amendments to the OSBA Bylaws. View the crosswalk for the proposed changes to the OSBA Bylaws here. The bracketed language included in the proposed Bylaws amendments pertaining to the addition of the Oregon School Board Members PRIDE Caucus is dependent upon the passage of Resolution 2. If Resolution 2 does not pass, the bracketed language will be removed from the OSBA bylaws.

The following resolution was adopted by the OSBA membership during electronic voting Nov. 15 – Dec. 15, 2023:

• Resolution 1 creates the Oregon Rural School Board Members Caucus and designates a seat on the OSBA Board of Directors and Legislative Policy Committee.

The following resolution was adopted by the OSBA membership during electronic voting Nov. 15 – Dec. 15, 2022:

• Resolution 1 adopts the proposed Legislative Priorities and Principles

The following resolution was adopted by the OSBA membership during electronic voting Nov. 16 – Dec. 18, 2020:

• Resolution 1 adopts the proposed 2021-22 Legislative Priorities and Principles

The following resolutions were adopted by the OSBA membership during electronic voting Nov.12 – Dec. 14, 2018:

• Resolution 1 adopts the proposed 2019-20 OSBA Legislative Policies and Priorities as recommended by the Legislative Policy Committee; and
• Resolution 2  amends the OSBA Bylaws relating to composition of the OSBA Board of Directors by designating the Oregon School Board Members of Color Caucus a voting seat on the OSBA Board of Directors and Legislative Policy Committee.  View Frequently Asked Questions regarding the changes to the OSBA Bylaws.
