The first step in effective advocacy is to get informed. The Oregon State Legislature website contains multiple options for finding pertinent information on bills and is an indispensable resource for researching and tracking legislation of interest.

Find your district and legislators – Use this Oregon Legislature tool to find who represents you.

Oregon State Legislative Information System (OLIS) – The Oregon State Legislature’s information website.

Oregon Economic and Revenue Forecast – (DAS – Economic and Revenue Forecast) a listing of current Economic and Revenue Forecasts released by the Department of Administrative Services. These reports are used by state government for budgeting.

Oregon State Government Finance – (DAS – Chief Financial Office) a high-level detail of the state’s budget structure (e.g., general fund, lottery fund, rainy day & education stability fund, and other funds), budget process, and the state spending limit.

Oregon Legislative Fiscal Office – (LFO) a listing of all publications released by the Legislative Fiscal Office can be found under the Publications tab.

Oregon Legislative Policy and Research ​​Office – (LPRO) a listing of all publications released by the Legislative Policy and Research Office can be found under the Research and Analysis tab.

Oregon Legislative Revenue Office – (LRO) a listing of all publications released by the Legislative Revenue Office can be found under the Publications tab.

Legislative Calendar – The Legislature establishes the Legislative Calendar at the previous session’s close through resolution. The Legislative Calendar can be found in the right column of the Chief Clerk of the House webpage of the Oregon Legislative Information System (OLIS).

Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) – Searchable index of the Oregon Revised Statutes.

Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) – Searchable index of the Oregon Administrative Rules.

This project is framed with Mass Timber and Cross Laminated Timber (CLT), which is an innovative building process typically used in large-scale or government projects. Our students walked the site, observed multiple trades working together in real time, and gained firsthand insight into a modern construction method that’s shaping the future of building design.We are grateful for opportunities like this to connect our students to the industry and inspire them to explore careers in the skilled trades.
