Because the first year is so ciritical for setting the tone of professional relationships, OSBA offers board/superintendent coaching to help your new team operate effectively.  OSBA will meet with you and your new executive to cover:

• Governance
• Expectations
• Goal Setting
• Operating Agreements
• Performance evaluation
• Public meetings and executive sessions
• Effective communications

Please contact Kristen Miles at [email protected] for more information.

Sometimes executives resign too late in the year for boards to conduct a search. OSBA is available to assist boards in finding an interim executive who can serve until the board can conduct a full search.

An OSBA staff member will meet with the board to discuss the process and furnish a list of potential interim candidates. Only meals, mileage and lodging expenses are charged for this single meeting assistance.

If the board requests more assistance with the interim process, OSBA charges an hourly fee for this service.
