Oregon LGBTQIA2S+ School Board Members Advisory Committee

About the Committee

As per OSBA Board Guidelines, the board voted to approve the formation of an LGBTQIA2S+ School Board Members Advisory Committee on September 22, 2023. Katrina Doughty has stepped forward to serve as the liaison between the advisory committee and the Board of Directors. Over the next year, the committee will meet regularly to draft bylaws; identify officers; identify goals that align with the mission, vision, and goals of OSBA; draft action plans; and draft a budget, all of which will be submitted to the OSBA Board for review. After review, the OSBA Board will vote on submitting a resolution to form an Oregon LGBTQIA2S+ School Board Members Caucus to the membership. The caucus will become official after the successful passage of the resolution.

For more information, please contact Katrina Doughty.
