The Oregon Department of Education is offering up to $20,000 per sponsor to start or expand a summer meal program.
The federal Summer Food Service Program reimburses sponsors for healthy food and snacks served to eligible children and teens. Schools, nonprofits, government agencies and faith-based organizations can operate sites, and ODE administers the program.
The deadline to submit an eligibility assessment form is March 1.
