The OSBA Legislative Roadshow kicks off next week in the Interstate 5 corridor.
OSBA’s fall regional meetings are scheduled for 20 stops all over Oregon. OSBA leaders will share information on implementing laws passed in 2023 and expectations for the 2024 legislative session. The roadshow is also a chance for school board members and superintendents to meet with their regional counterparts as well as to talk with OSBA representatives about important education issues.
On Tuesday, Sept. 19, the Lane Education Service District will host the meeting at its offices at 1200 Highway 99 North in Eugene. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., and the meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Attendees can register at the Lane ESD website or by email at [email protected], and dinner is included.
On Thursday, Sept. 21, the Multnomah ESD will host at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel at 8235 NE Airport Way. The registration table opens at 5:15 with a reception and dinner to follow, and the meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Attendees can register early online and choose a dinner.
