The OSBA Board is seeking applicants for three open positions.
The board, made up of representatives from 14 regions and the Oregon School Board Members of Color Caucus, guides the association’s work. Current Oregon school board members are needed for positions 3 (Central region), 4 (Southeast region) and 12 (Marion region).
Candidates must be on an Oregon school district, education service district or community college board. Contact OSBA’s La’Nell Trissel at [email protected] to receive an application packet. Application materials must be returned by noon July 26.
The board will appoint the new members at an upcoming meeting for a term that ends Dec. 31. They will be eligible in the fall elections to run for an additional term. The new members will also be expected to attend the OSBA Board retreat Sept. 22-24 in Hood River.
