- Oregon Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) – Oregon Department of Justice information for students, parents and educators to help ensure “safe surfing” on the Internet.

- American Association of School Administrators – Professional organization for school leaders that can provide resources and links on school violence and safety.
- Center for the Prevention of School Violence – Established in 1993; a resource for dealing with school violence. Center focuses on making schools safe and secure so that every student is able to attend a school free of fear and conducive to learning.
- Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence – CSPV was founded in 1992 with a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York to provide informed assistance to groups committed to understanding and preventing violence, particularly adolescent violence. Located at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
- Kentucky Center for School Safety – Information and materials concerning violence prevention operated by a consortium of three Kentucky universities and the Kentucky School Boards Association.
- National Crime Prevention Council – Nonprofit organization whose mission is to help America prevent crime and build safer, stronger communities. Home of McGruff, the crime dog.
- Northwest Regional ESD’s The Safety Zone – Information and material related to school safety.
- National School Safety Center – Site includes resources for educators, parents, and reporters.
- Operation Respect – Order Peter Yarrow’s Don’t Laugh At Me materials (free) to encourage the healthy expression of feelings, caring and cooperation, conflict resolution and appreciation of differences.
- Safeguarding Our Children: An Action Guide – New resource from the U.S. Dept. of Ed. and the U.S. Dept. of Justice to help schools and communities prevent violence.
- Arkansas Safe School Initiative – Funded by a grant from the U.S. Dept. of Justice, the center’s goal is to help reduce violence and violence-related behavior in our country’s schools.
