School boards’ October agendas should include an annual district report on meeting Oregon education standards if they haven’t heard one already.

The Oregon State Board of Education and Legislature have set requirements for public education known as “Division 22 standards.” The rules are housed in Chapter 581, Division 22 of the Oregon Administrative Rules.

By Nov. 1, superintendents must report to school boards on district compliance and post the report for the community and submit it to the Oregon Department of Education. ODE shared more details on reporting requirements in a Monday email.
