Sometimes there is more than one version of a model sample policy or administrative regulation. Version 1 typically represents the minimum policy language, and version 2 represents an expanded or alternative version.
When choosing a particular version, select the corresponding version of the administrative regulation, when available – see the annotation under the title.
When editing policies and administrative regulations with recommended edits published in a Policy Update issue, be sure to choose the corresponding version's recommended edits; though nothing prevents the board from choosing a completely different version than what was previously adopted.
