Division 22 Standards policy guide

Do you have the policies and/or administrative regulations needed to sign your Division 22 Assurances? OSBA Policy Services prepared a Policy Guide for Division 22 Standards, a tool to assist you in identifying evidence as listed in the Oregon Department of Education's Guide for Division 22 Assurances. Please review the Oregon Department of Education's assurance requirements on their website.

Policies where OAR (or ORS) states "the Board shall adopt policy..." are required. In addition, for the many things districts are required to do but are not required in policy, OSBA sample policies are identified as highly recommended or may be optional. This designation also applies to areas of high litigation where policy can assist the district with guidance. All other policies are identified as optional.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact Policy Services.
