Model student handbook

Get the sample language you need to meet student and parent notification requirements

Use our well-researched and consistently updated model as the basis for your school’s student handbook. The fully annotated printed handbook includes the most current information about what the laws require you to say to students and parents. Sample language can be used or modified to meet each school’s need. The handbook text is available on disk to make it easy to reconfigure for your specifications.

The Model Student Handbook provides:

  • Statements and notices required by law
  • Editorial notes on how to use this information
  • Suggestions on how to correlate items with district policy
