Policy Update
An online subscription service providing updates to policies and administrative regulations with a brief discussion of current policy issues of concern to Oregon community colleges, education service districts, public charter schools and school districts. Model sample policies and administrative regulations reflecting these issues and changes in law, if applicable, are included.
The model sample policies and administrative regulations (AR) are intended to provide a basis for drafting policies and ARs that meet local needs. The model sample policies and ARs may be used to determine areas for which policy and procedure should be developed or revised and as a starting point for discussing the local board's policy position. The update and recommended policy and administrative regulation model samples are not meant to replace the advice of legal counsel.
