Model sample policies and administrative regulations reflecting these issues and changes in law, if applicable, are included.
The model sample policies and administrative regulations (AR) are intended to provide a basis for drafting policies and ARs that meet local needs. The model sample policies and ARs may be used to determine areas for which policy and procedure should be developed or revised and as a starting point for discussing the local board's policy position. The update and recommended policy and administrative regulation model samples are not meant to replace the advice of legal counsel.
Policy Update subscribers can download an electronic version of the model sample policies and ARs in Word format from the OSBA membership portal.
An OSBA member may purchase an annual subscription to Policy Update for $450. A member school district may also purchase a Supplemental Charter School - Policy Update subscription for a public charter school in their district for $200 annually. Public charter schools may purchase their own subscription to the Charter School - Policy Update with a Memorandum of Understanding from their sponsor for $450 annually.
