10:30 a.m.: The House will vote on:

  • Processes for handling reports of sexual harassment in schools (HB 3077A).

11 a.m.: The Senate will vote on:

  • Rules relating to disclosing unlawful discrimination (SB 726A).

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Including mental or behavior health for excused absences (HB 2191).
  • Allowing more excused absences for children of active duty military personnel (HB 2556).
  • Requiring a licensed teacher on the State Board of Education (HB 2512).
  • Modifying duties and membership of the Early Learning Council (HB 2262A).

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold an informational meeting on:

  • Waiving college tuition and fees for members of Oregon Native American tribes (HB 2640).

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Licensing for assessments for special education eligibility (SB 16).
  • Requiring a school district plan on student suicide prevention (SB 52A).
  • Developing communication plans following a suspected suicide (SB 485).

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Allowing a teacher to work while license application is pending (SB 216).
  • Adding school board members to list of mandatory reporters of child abuse (SB 415).

3 p.m.: The House Rules Committee will hold a public hearing and possible work session on:

  • Workers’ compensation rules (HB 3022).

Tuesday

8:30 a.m.: The Joint Committee on Ways and Means Education Subcommittee will hold an informational hearing on:

  • K-12 assessments.

8:30 a.m.: The House Revenue Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Modifying requirements to qualify as a small high school for State School Fund distributions (HB 2867).

1 p.m.: The House will vote on:

  • Requiring higher education institutions to adopt policies on sexual harassment, assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking (HB 3415A).

Wednesday

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Establishing college textbook affordability plans (HB 2213A).
  • Encouraging partnerships between school districts and post-secondary institutions to offer accelerated college credit programs (HB 2263A).

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold an informational meeting on:

  • Adopting standards for school library programs (HB 3263).

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Adjusting the statutory listings of education service districts (SB 151).
  • Residency for spouses and children of military personnel (SB 689).
