Student Success Committee’s plan adds urgency to need for education advocacy

Monday, April 8, 2019

The Joint Committee on Student Success has kicked into high gear, releasing an outline of its plans last week and promising more details on revenue measures and legislative language this week.

This means our Oregonians for Student Success campaign will be jumping into overdrive to ensure legislators receive the feedback and support to help get the job done this session. We will be ramping up our communication with the Legislature, and you are a critical part.

School board members are key leaders in communities, and we need your help to mobilize voices from your area in support of this package. Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey so we can help employ your relationships and your story in this campaign.

We will be working individually with members from across the state to build momentum, and this is a critical step.
