8:30 a.m.: The House Revenue Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Small high school requirements for State School Fund distributions (HB 2867).

11 a.m.: The House will vote on:

  • Long-term care insurance plans (HB 2037).

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • High school assessment tests (SB 157).

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing and possible work session on:

  • Use of restraints in schools (SB 963).

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Creating a task force on implementing electronic high school transcripts (SB 17).
  • The Transfer Student Bill of Rights and Responsibilities (SB 730).

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Teacher license renewal fee waiver (HB 2031).
  • Grants for school transportation costs (HB 2326).
  • Establishing Task Force on Family Engagement in Education (HB 2990).
  • Establishing Task Force on Educator Attraction and Retention (HB 3010).

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Establishing the Preschool Promise Program (HB 2025).
  • Using Measure 98 money for existing career and technical education programs at small, remote high schools (HB 2385).

Tuesday

11 a.m.: The House will vote on:

  • Creating the Oregon Education Support Professional of the Year Program (HB 2964A)

Wednesday

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Supporting partnerships among university faculty and high school teachers to improve graduation rates (SB 739).
  • Allowing military children to be considered school district residents based on transfer order (SB 802).
  • Repealing sunset provision for Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children (SB 690A).
  • Establishing Dreamers Access Program to award student loans (SB 958).

1 p.m.: The Senate Education Committee will hold a work session on:

  • Licensing for special education services eligibility assessments (SB 16).
  • Requiring credit for International Baccalaureate exam score of four or higher (SB 160).
  • The Transfer Student Bill of Rights and Responsibilities (SB 730).

1 p.m.: The House Economic Development Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Patents for inventions by students or public school staff (HB 2890).

3 p.m.: The House Education Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • High school equivalency tests (HB 2520 and HB 2987).

3 p.m.: The Senate Finance and Revenue Committee will hold a public hearing on:

  • Placing personal kicker refund money in an education fund (SJR 23).
