Videos tell real story of students affected by underfunded schools

The legislative conversation around revenue is picking up and so is our campaign, with personal stories from real students.
Last week we launched the first in a series of videos profiling students from around the state and how a lack of school funding impacts their education. Take a minute to check out the story of Nastasha Love, a senior at Nestucca Valley High School. The first two segments, here and here, show how students suffer when their schools don’t have enough money.
We will create more installments as Love visits Salem and we hear from other students around the state. You can also find these videos on our Facebook page. Please take a minute to share them on your page so we can get the word out!
The Legislature is on the road, with the Ways and Means Committee collecting testimony last week in Pendleton and Redmond and headed to Portland this week. If you are in the area, consider taking time Wednesday, March 21, to tell legislators why new revenue is so important for our schools. Details are on our website here.
