Talented and Gifted conference presents national education expert

Jonathan Plucker, an expert on gifted education, will be the keynote speaker for the Oct. 20 Oregon Association for Talented and Gifted conference at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City. Plucker is the president-elect of the National Association for Gifted Children, the Julian C. Stanley professor of talent development at Johns Hopkins University, and the author of more than 200 books, articles, chapters and reports. Breakouts for educators and parents at the conference, “Bridging Gaps,” include sessions on creativity and development.
