Be College Ready offers free school supplies, chance to win $100 college savings plan

The Be College Ready program is offering free school supplies to encourage elementary-age children to begin thinking about college. The Oregon College Savings Plan will give participating schools or districts homework folders, pencils and bookmarks for every student, as well as classroom materials.
The Oregon College Savings Plan asks schools to distribute information to parents and provide opportunities for families to learn more about making post-secondary education more affordable. One hundred families will win a $100 Oregon College Savings Plan account.
