Teaching With Purpose Conference explores culturally responsive teaching

The 8th Annual Teaching With Purpose Conference – Touching the Spirit to Heal the Spirit: A Call to Culturally Responsive Practice – is Oct. 13-14 at Portland’s Parkrose Middle School.
Teaching With Purpose strives to engage and inform educators about culturally responsive teaching. The conference aims to ignite equity-focused education while supporting leadership in the subject and developing a network of committed educators. The conference is open to administrators, educators, school board members, students, parents, support staff and the community.
