Free webinar focuses on importance of consistently getting students to school

Attendance Works will present a free webinar on improving attendance at 11 a.m. Sept. 12. Oregon Department of Education Chronic Absenteeism Specialist Robin Shobe, ODE Indian Education Specialist Ramona Halcomb and Willamina School District Superintendent Carrie Zimbrick will discuss the Tribal Attendance Pilot Project as part of the program. Presenters will also share examples of successful approaches to reducing chronic absenteeism.
