Nominations sought for Oregon Education Support Professional of the Year

Oregon schools have an opportunity to honor sometimes unsung support professionals.
The Oregon Department of Education is taking nominations for the 2023 Oregon Education Support Professional of the Year. The category covers roles as varied as classroom assistants and transportation, custodial, clerical and maintenance workers. Nominees must be employed by an Oregon public prekindergarten program or school district and are expected to embody accountability, equity, excellence and integrity.
Nominations are open until Feb. 28, and the winner will receive $5,000.
