Share stories of pandemic relief money helping students
Tuesday, January 3, 2023
The federal government has dedicated $1.6 billion in pandemic relief funds to Oregon school districts and education service districts. The Oregon Department of Education wants to share with the public how schools are using the money.
ODE is inviting schools to fill out a short questionnaire on how they have used Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund allotments. Districts have already claimed at least $650 million for facility upgrades, staffing such as counselors and specialists, and programs for students. ODE wants to help districts tell their stories and showcase student benefits on its website and social media accounts.
