The Oregon Department of Education announced three new resources Tuesday as part of its efforts to simplify federal and state program requirements.
“Aligning for Student Success: Integrated Guidance for Six ODE Initiatives” aims to combine on the same timeline the submissions for High School Success, Student Investment Account, Continuous Improvement Planning, Career and Technical Education – Perkins V, Every Day Matters, and Early Indicator Intervention Systems.
The three new resources support fall work in preparation for applications in March:
•The Community Engagement Survey Resource Guide includes an item bank of potential questions.
•The District Data Dashboard and Data Visualizations was created in collaboration with the Northwest Regional Education Service District.
•A resource is expected by mid-September on ensuring the safety and privacy of student focal groups.
