OSBA seeks to fill Linn/Benton/Lincoln Region board seat

OSBA is taking applications to fill a seat on its board of directors.
Candidates for Position 10, the Linn/Benton/Lincoln Region seat, must be a serving member on a school district, education service district or community college board in the region. The seat became open because of the recall of Jeff Davis of the Alsea School District.
Applicants do not need to be nominated by a local board, as is required during regular elections. The OSBA Board will make an appointment at a special board meeting. The new member will be expected to attend the next regularly scheduled meeting June 18 by Zoom.

The term runs until Dec. 31. Applicants are eligible to run in the fall for the full term that starts in January.
