The Oregon Department of Education released Tuesday “provisional” materials to help school leaders prepare for local decision-making on mask requirements.
State-mandated school masking won’t end until March 31, giving school leaders time to examine their communities’ needs and prepare plans. The email includes links to face covering data, a table laying out potential ramifications of local decisions and frequently asked questions about masks in a K-12 setting.
The documents and guidance may be updated in coming days, ODE said.
