Voting open for OSBA Board, Legislative Policy Committee seats

Monday, November 15, 2021

OSBA is now taking ballots for OSBA Board and Legislative Policy Committee positions. School boards have until Dec. 17 to submit their votes.

Board and LPC positions are elected regionally and represent local viewpoints in state-level discussions about Oregon’s education system. School board members in OSBA help guide policy and carry information back to their communities.

This year’s board election regions are Eastern (position 1), Gorge (2), Southeast (4), Lane (6), Clackamas (8), Linn/Benton/Lincoln (10), Marion (11 and 12), North Coast (14), Washington (15 and 20) and Multnomah (18). Positions 1, 11 and 15 are for one-year terms. The rest, and all 20 elected policy committee positions, are for two-year terms.

The OSBA Election Center contains more information.
