OHA and ODE offer COVID-19 testing programs for K-12 students and staff

The Oregon Health Authority offers a variety of COVID-19 testing options for K-12 students and staff to identify COVID-19 infections early and help slow transmission. 

The testing program is a part of the revised “Ready Schools, Safe Learners Resiliency Framework” and schools must register even if they participated last year. 

The Oregon Health Authority, in partnership with the Oregon Department of Education, offers three opt-in COVID-19 testing programs ─ diagnostic testing for students or staff, weekly screening testing for unvaccinated K-12 staff and weekly screening testing of unvaccinated students.
