The state of Oregon recently awarded $47.9 million in seismic rehabilitation grants to schools.
The 23 school grants, announced May 14, ranged from a little over $400,000 to $2.5 million. Since the program began in 2009, seismic upgrade grants have been awarded for work at 275 schools.
