OSBA Virtual Fall Legislative Update tackles school leaders’ questions

OSBA held its first Virtual Fall Legislative Update on Tuesday, replacing the usual regional meetings. It will hold two more on Oct. 22 and Oct. 24.
OSBA Executive Director Jim Green, Legislative Services Director Lori Sattenspiel and Legislative Services Specialist Richard Donovan offered information on the 2021 legislative session, legislative priorities and principles, OSBA elections, and upcoming events, including possible spring regional meetings.
The virtual format allowed a simultaneous chat feature. Green fielded a steady flow of questions covering topics such as COVID-19 issues, school funding, enrollment and technology challenges.
