OSBA canceled this year’s Bend event in light of the COVID-19 restrictions, but OSBA is still offering school board members, administrators and other education advocates an opportunity to learn, connect and be inspired.
The half-day July 11 event will include 10 choices of virtual workshops. Sessions will cover current issues, such as planning for the fall and reopening school buildings, and school board member development, such as handling social media and implementing collaborative governance.
The conference will have keynote presentations from Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction Colt Gill and Oregon School Activities Association Executive Director Peter Weber. Attendees will be able to network with colleagues as well as vendors and exhibitors through virtual chat rooms.
The conference costs $30, with free registration for board secretaries.
