The first 2018 Oregon gubernatorial debate will consist entirely of questions asked by students tonight in Portland.
The Debate for Oregon’s Future will start at 7 p.m. at Roosevelt High School and be broadcast live on KOIN TV, KDRV TV, KBNZ, KPAM and KOIN.com. Gov. Kate Brown (D), Rep. Knute Buehler (R) and Patrick Starnes (I) will face questions from more than a dozen young people, ranging in age from 12 to 19, from eight Oregon cities. Two other debates are scheduled: Oct. 4 in Medford and Oct. 9 in Portland.
