Chemeketa instructor named Community Educator of the Year

Chemeketa Community College instructor GwenEllyn Anderson has been named Community Educator of the Year by the Oregon Association of Community and Continuing Education.
Anderson has been at Chemeketa since 1991 and was one of the first there to teach online classes. Her nomination praised her creative approach to teaching by incorporating games, videos, dialogue and other methods with lectures.
Chemeketa has nearly 30,000 students enrolled at campuses and community locations around Oregon.
