Joe Wehrli has worked with district administrators and school boards throughout the state on policy related issues through the policy department since 2004. He earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Oregon State University and his administrative credentials from Portland State University.

Prior to joining OSBA, Joe worked in the educational field at the district level for eighteen years. During that time, he spent nine years in the classroom teaching students in grades nine through twelve. Joe also served as a high school assistant principal and as an elementary and middle school principal. 

Joe has experience in a variety of other district level capacities including: district testing coordinator, special education supervisor, high school coach, district and county emergency response team member and district budget and purchasing advisor.
