With nearly 130 district, education service district and community college contracts expiring in 2002, salary and benefits will be the number one focus in bargaining on both sides of the negotiation table.

Salary Schedule report ($40 member price, $50 non-member) contains licensed salary schedules from 153 school districts, 18 education service districts and 11 community colleges. The licensed section also includes about 70 extra duty schedules. The classified salary schedule section reports information from 84 school districts, 12 education service districts and 11 community colleges.

Salary Survey report ($15 member price, $30 non-member) details the salary schedule, intermediate salary columns, salary policies, professional improvement, insurance, paid leaves, calendar and workdays, staff assignments and extra duty information for licensed staff.

Insurance Language report ($35 member price, $45 non-member). Even before the special sessions, insurance was already an issue because of double digit rate increases. OSBA responded to the increasing focus on insurance by creating a publication that includes the insurance agreements from 127 school districts, 14 education service districts and 13 community colleges. The classified insurance language section reports information from 116 school districts, 5 education service districts and 11 community colleges.
