Every child deserves a future that embraces a world of new opportunities and knowledge. Our schools must prepare every student to succeed in the world, providing the skills and insight that will help them adapt and learn throughout their lives. As leaders in our schools and communities, you must believe in the promise of the future - and you must believe your work helps to make every future count.

Why should I attend OSBA's Annual Convention?

Leadership Institute

OSBA members now receive points for attending workshops and conferences -- 40 points are awarded for convention. It’s part of OSBA’s leadership achievement program.

We know how hard you work. While the rewards come on the bright young faces you see on graduation night, or in the thought of "doing the right thing" for your community, OSBA believes you deserve something more -- formal recognition for your dedication.

OSBA offers Bronze, Silver and Gold Certificates of Recognition in Leadership Achievement through its new Leadership Institute. Three certification levels are awarded (bronze, silver, gold) based on points you receive for attending workshops, conferences and other leadership activities. There is also a Board Achievement Award to recognize the collective work of an entire board. Read more about points and recognition levels.
