Long-term Disability Insurance
Long-term Disability coverage is offered through Regence Life &
Health Insurance Co., an affiliate of Regence BlueCross BlueShield of
Oregon. The plan provides income replacement to a disabled employee or
can be used to supplement reduced earnings while a disabled individual
attempts rehabilitative employment. Premium rates are reduced by
integration with PERS benefits and discounts based on pooling of
participating OSBA districts.
Regence Life & Health Insurance Co. periodically mails general
information to districts. Proposals are customized to meet the needs
