Accidental Death and Dismemberment
A
low-cost, high benefit accidental death and dismemberment insurance plan is offered to
OSBA member districts through Mutual of Omaha. The plan is available to all employees on a
voluntary basis. Premiums are paid through payroll deduction. No medical examinations are
necessary.
Employees may select benefit amounts in $10,000
increments with coverage amounts ranging from $10,000 to $500,000. Coverage can be
obtained for the employee’s spouse and dependent children. Special education and
training benefits apply when family coverage is purchased.
OSBA mails information about the Accidental
Death and Dismemberment program to superintendents/presidents and clerks in July.
