cards each have several categories, including one labeled "Local Information"
with space for districts to add local details. The school report card includes a mailer
panel. The district report card does not. This allows districts to fold them together with
the school report card on the outside, ready for mailing. Some districts are producing
their own wrap-around to enclose both pieces. See OSBA's Report

Federal Adequate Yearly Progress Rating Designates that the district has
"Met" or "Not Met" the standards of the No Child Left Behind Act.
School Ratings
This table shows the state rating for each district school in the following categories: Overall, Student Performance, Student Behavior, Improvement and School Characteristics.
District Information This collection of graphs and tables provides the following information:
Academic Achievement: Percentage of district students meeting standards on language arts and mathematics tests compared with the percentage of students statewide. Also, percentage of students participating in state tests, compared with the percentage statewide.
District at a Glance: Information about attendance rates, qualifications of district staff, percentages of students who meet specific criteria such as needing special education, and number of videoconferencing facilities.
Financial Data: General fund expenditures, ESD spending, and bond levies, if any.
Statewide Assessments: Percentage of specific subgroups of students meeting standards in tests of language arts and math, and in test participation.
Accountability Information Required by the Federal No Child Left Behind Act This table describes the formula used to determine whether
or not the district met federal rating standards. The table also rates district student subgroups and all students in the following areas: performance on language arts and math tests, participation in language arts and math tests, and graduation or attendance rate.

school's rating in the category School Characteristics. Also shows school size, share of English-language learners, graduates with a diploma, SAT scores, expulsions due to weapons, and information about the qualifications of school staff.
