Charter Schools May Join OSBA as Associate Members
As associate members, public charter-school boards may access membership benefits that come with annual dues, such as those related to policy, human resources, public records, leadership, and publications. They may also purchase charter-school-employee health insurance through the OSBA Health Insurance Trust and property/casualty coverage through PACE, Property and Casualty Coverage for Education.

Welcome charter school members!
Congratulations to the following charter schools that have become “charter” members of OSBA’s new associate membership program: Four Rivers Community School (Ontario), Luckiamute Valley Charter School (Monmouth/Dallas), The Village School (Eugene), and The Lighthouse School (North Bend).

OSBA associate membership was opened to charter schools in July following a unanimous vote by the board in June. The board also voted to extend free convention registrations to charter school board members in August, and representatives of five charter schools attended.
