The Education Debate: Who are the players?
Quality Education Commission - An 11 member group that refined the Quality Education Model designed to figure the cost of getting students to reach higher academic standards.
Education Leadership Team - Created by the 1999 Legislature, this group is focusing on setting education priorities... what we want our children to learn and how we can make schools and communities accountable for reaching those goals.
ESD Funding Task Force - 13-member group created by the 1999 Legislature exploring what school services are best delivered regionally and how these services should be funded.
Education Funding in Oregon - A look at school funding in Oregon. Contains a comparison of how school funding has changed over the last decade, estimates of State School Fund distribution on a district-by-district basis, grant resources and other alternative funding sources.
Database Initiative Project (DBI) - The Office of School Finance at the Oregon Department of Education provides school-level information on spending, staffing, processes, student performance, and demographics.
