The Budget

Community college budgets follow a program format prescribed by the Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development. The major budget divisions are for Instruction, Instructional Support Services, Student Services, College Support Services and Plant Operation and Maintenance.

Accounts for financial aid, capital improvements, contingency, ending fund balance and auxiliary services also are included in the budget.

The numbering system for accounts within each budget area is the same as the numbering system described on the sample budget forms.
