Board of Directors
Following implementation of governance changes enacted November 2007 the OSBA board will consist of 19 directors, each elected on a regional basis for a two-calendar-year term. The board also includes these non-voting ex-officio members:
  • Any director of the National School Boards Association elected from Oregon
  • The immediate past president of the Oregon Association of School Executives
  • The immediate past president of the Confederation of Oregon School Administrators
  • The board section president of the Oregon Association of Education Service Districts
  • The president of the Oregon Community College Association
  • The chair of the State Board of Education

Due to these governance changes, terms of office for all board members and officers end December 31, 2008. Current OSBA president Craig Prewitt will continue to serve on the board (position 5) as past-president; current president-elect Annette Mattson will assume the role of president for 2009 and will serve in position 17.
