2007-08 Goals
The OSBA Board of Directors approves the association’s goals for the coming year at its June meeting. The OSBA staff uses the board goals to recommend the annual action plan which is presented to the board in September.

The goals were created to address the association’s mission and strategic directions.

Goals

  1. Be the recognized leader in Oregon’s alliance dedicated to seeking adequate, sustainable pre-K-14 funding as described in the Quality Education Model (QEM).
  2. Proactively engage OSBA members with on-going, interactive communications regarding vision, goals, and association services.
  3. Develop relevant, focused programs that help boards meet local needs, plus federal and state requirements.
  4. Strengthen the association’s financial health to continue the long-term stability of providing outstanding programs and services.

The OSBA board of directors reviews strategic directions and goals at its June meeting and sets new goals for the next year.
