Governance refers to the standards we set for students and the initiatives that govern board decisions.
- Chief Education Office - A vision build and coordinate a seamless system of education that meets the diverse learning needs of Oregonians from birth through college and career.
- Academic Content Standards - Oregon's expectations for students in English language arts, mathematics, health, physical education, science, world language, social sciences, and the arts.
- Every Student Succeeds Act - The reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), commonly referred to as No Child Left Behind (NCLB), by Congress and signed by the President, July 2015.
